When we experienced life in France ourselves, we quickly realized that reliable information was not always easy to find. Important answers were scattered across government websites, online forums, Facebook groups, YouTube videos, and outdated blog posts.

We spent hours jumping between government websites, searching through forums, translating unfamiliar French terms, and wondering whether the information we found was even up to date.

We learned the hard way so that you do not have to. That simple realization inspired us to build a resource that would stand by your side.

A message from the founder

Hi, I'm Mayank.

Like many internationals, I moved to France excited about a new chapter; however, I quickly discovered how difficult it was to find reliable, practical information in English.

Every administrative process seemed to require another website, another document, or another unfamiliar acronym. I often wished there was one trusted place that explained everything clearly.

That experience inspired HelpExpats. Today, that vision has evolved into VivreFR.

My goal is simple: to build the platform I wish I had when I first arrived in France.
