Note: In accordance with GDPR Article 37, VivreFR is not required to appoint a formal Data Protection Officer (DPO) as our core activities do not involve large-scale regular monitoring or sensitive data processing.

2. Personal Data We Collect

3. Purposes & Legal Bases for Processing

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, we only process personal data when we have an established legal basis:

  • Performance of a Contract (Art. 6.1.b): To deliver requested consulting bookings, provide downloadable digital resources, manage user accounts, and execute our service commitments.
  • Consent (Art. 6.1.a): To send email newsletters, provide updates, and activate non-essential cookies (such as analytics and advertising trackers). You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6.1.f): To maintain platform security, prevent fraud, optimize server performance, and respond to general inbound inquiries.
  • Legal Obligations (Art. 6.1.c): To maintain statutory accounting and transaction records for paid bookings in compliance with French commercial law.

4. Cookies, Tracking & Consent Settings

VivreFR utilizes a granular, GDPR-compliant Cookie Consent Manager to respect your choices regarding tracking and data privacy. When you visit our website, tracking technologies remain disabled by default (opt-out) until you choose to enable them, except for essential cookies required to run the site.

Essential Cookies & Local Storage (Necessary)

Required for standard website functions. This includes saving your cookie consent preferences and language selection so you don't have to re-configure them on every visit, and managing secure user sessions. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics & Performance (Optional)

We use analytics tools to help us anonymously measure site traffic and improve our services. This includes services like Google Analytics and Matomo. These tags are only activated if you explicitly grant permission.

Targeted Advertising & Partners (Optional)

Allows us to measure advertising efficiency and track affiliate program referrals. This includes Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and enqueued partner networks. Our verified affiliate partner integrations include Google Ads, Awin, Impact, CJ Affiliate, and TimeOne.

Preferences & Functionality (Optional)

Enables custom preferences, such as remembering your language settings, currency choices, and calculations on our interactive tool pages.

Managing Consent: You can adjust or withdraw your consent settings at any time. To do so, simply click the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer to re-open the consent preferences manager.

5. Data Retention Schedule

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with CNIL recommendations:

  • Contact Inquiries: Retained for up to 3 years from the date of last contact (in accordance with CNIL prospecting standards).
  • Newsletter Subscriptions: Retained until you unsubscribe (each email includes an instant 1-click unsubscribe link).
  • Paid Consultation & Billing Records: Retained for 10 years to comply with Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code.
  • Cookie Choices & Technical Logs: Consent preferences are remembered for 6 to 12 months; server logs are rotated and deleted within 12 months.

6. Data Recipients & International Transfers

We never sell your personal data. Personal data is only shared with trusted service providers (sub-processors) necessary to operate the platform:

  • Hosting & Infrastructure: Hostinger International Ltd (EU data storage).
  • Payment Processing: Mollie B.V. and PayPal (PCI-DSS compliant payment handlers).
  • Email & Newsletter Delivery: ConvertKit (email broadcast services).

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework to guarantee an adequate level of data protection.
